AreaGuard Neo LICENSES

AreaGuard Neo consists of the product license (valid for the life of the product version) and an associated maintenance plan (product development, updates and maintenance).

AreaGuard Neo licenses are determined by the number of protected computers. The server on which the Admin Console is installed is not included. The initial purchase includes the maintenance plan for the respective number of years (1, 2 or 3), which entitles customers to access to the latest software updates and priority technical support. A maintenance plan is an inseparable component of each initial purchase.

To activate the licensed product, customers receive a unique license number based on their product type and version, including the number of protected computers.

INCREASING YOUR LICENSE

Customers can purchase licenses for additional users at any time during the valid license period. The price of the increase is calculated as the difference between the price of the new number of licenses and the price of the current number of licenses, using the pricelist valid at the time of the increase. License increases apply to the customer’s current maintenance plan, if applicable.

UPGRADING TO A HIGHER PRODUCT VERSION

Upgrading to a higher version of AreaGuard Neo is possible only for customers with a valid maintenance plan. Customers with expired maintenance plans, who wish to upgrade, must renew their maintenance plans. Upgrades are then performed based on the terms of the current maintenance plan, and at no additional cost. Prices for renewing maintenance plan are graduated and are set as a percentage of the purchase price valid at that time.
